Information We Process Temporarily

When you use ClipGet to download a video, you submit a URL (video link). Our servers temporarily process this URL to extract the video download link from the supported platform. This URL is not stored after the request is completed.

Standard server logs may temporarily record:

  • Your IP address (retained for up to 7 days for security and abuse prevention)
  • The time and date of your request
  • Basic request metadata (browser type, response code)

These logs are used solely for operating and securing the service and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Our infrastructure may use third-party services that process data on our behalf:

  • Hosting & CDN: Our servers are hosted on Alibaba Cloud. Standard infrastructure logs may apply under their privacy policies.
  • DNS & Network: Cloudflare may process network-level data (IP addresses) for DDoS protection and performance. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts: We use Google Fonts to load typography. Google may log font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies

ClipGet does not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. We use only essential browser storage (e.g., your light/dark theme preference saved locally) which stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Content & Copyright

ClipGet is a tool that helps users download publicly accessible videos for personal use. We do not host, cache, or store any videos on our servers. All video content remains on the respective platform's servers.

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to download and use any content. Please respect the copyright and terms of service of the platforms you download from.

Children's Privacy

ClipGet is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
